Helen Ma is Vice President of Product Management and Head of Monetization for Facebook and Messenger Apps at Meta, leading product development for experiences that connect ~2B+ people to 300M+ businesses and 11M+ active advertisers across Meta. These products include consumer-facing advertising experiences in News Feed, Reels, Stories, Marketplace and Messenger, video advertising products that fund Creator Monetization, small business growth, and AI and GenAI-enabled experiences that support eCommerce, Retail, Lead Generation and the development of Business AIs. Prior to this role, she built and launched communications, reconnaissance and surveillance satellites for the Department of Defense and was a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, leading teams working across high tech, media and consumer packaged goods. She has 20+ years of experience across product, product marketing, engineering, and business strategy in the high tech industry.
