Ilana is a Principal in PwC's Digital Assurance and Transparency, Tech & Data team where she co-leads AI. She is part of the of the PwC AI leadership and serves as PwC's Responsible AI Research lead. Ilana is a Certified Ethical Emerging Technologist, is listed as one of 100 “Brilliant Women in AI Ethics” in 2020 and was recognized in Forbes as one of 15 leaders advancing Ethical AI.  ​She is a
practicing data scientist with 15+ years experience building and assessing AI/ML for clients and for PwC.​

Since 2018, she has led PwC’s efforts globally in the research and development of cutting-edge
approaches to build and deploy Responsible AI. Her research is published in academic
literature. She is a frequent speaker and author on Responsible AI topics and works across all
industries, and has advised governments, policy makers, and regulators on AI. ​
