Melanie Allen joined Brooks in 2017 after seven years with Starbucks Coffee Company, serving as vice president of global coffee innovation and vice president of integrated marketing. Before Starbucks, she held leadership roles in marketing, product, and engineering for over 16 years at Procter & Gamble and 3M. In her Brooks role, Melanie leads the global marketing team, defining brand strategy and developing campaigns that bring to life Brooks’ product stories, the company’s unique technology and design solutions, and the emotion inherent in the transformative power of the run. She is responsible for Brooks' e-commerce business, People and Planet corporate responsibility initiative, and Emerging Business unit. Named by Adweek as a 2022 CMO Award winner across all industries, she was honored for charting a path toward a strong, stable future for the Brooks brand. She earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University.
