Andrea Trabucco-Campos is a Partner at Pentagram, co-founder of Vernacular, an independent publisher of small print editions, and design professor at the School of Visual Arts and Yale.
He is a graphic and type designer whose practice utilizes typography and behavior to build transformative visual identities. With an active focus in emerging technologies like AI, his work investigates its role in the design process and development of craft and culture. His output spans the digital to the material, encompassing brand identities and systems, websites and apps, books and editorial, motion and interaction, signage and environmental, and custom typefaces.
His work includes designing the latest book for René Redzepi, NOMA 2.0, and brand identities for RISD, Apple Music, PayPal, NYT's Wirecutter, Mastercard, the Poetry Foundation, and Williamstown Theatre Festival, among others. He has garnered recognition from major awards including Fast Company Innovation by Design, Type Directors Club.
