Ed Romaine is Group Senior Vice President, Head of Business Strategy & Solutions at Warner Bros. Discovery. In this role, he spearheads strategic initiatives and client solutions across the company’s portfolio, including entertainment, sports, news, Warner Bros. Studios, global linear networks, and HBOMax, creating opportunities for advertisers to engage with audiences through premium storytelling and innovative partnerships.
Building his career on developing and implementing creative advertising and consumer solutions across platforms, Ed is recognized for his ability to cultivate strong agency and client partnerships, delivering unique strategies and tailored marketing campaigns that drive high-impact business outcomes and success.
Previously, Ed served as Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing & Brand Development for WBD Sports, overseeing marketing initiatives for branded content, product marketing, data strategy, operations, and consumer marketing. In his prior role as Chief Brand & Marketing Officer for Bleacher Report, Ed helped established the B/R brand as the No. 1 partner for sponsored content in sports and the leader in digital video engagement.
Before joining WBD, he held leadership positions at Kargo, Conde Nast, Hearst, and Bauer Media Group. He currently serves as Chairman of the U.S. Board for Education for Sharing, in addition to sitting on the Board of Directors for the Sports Equality Foundation and Healing the Children New Jersey.
He lives in New York City with his husband.
